The machine and apparatus engineering specialist Lohse has decided to modernise its sheet metal cutting. Since the beginning of 2023, the company has been using an erlcut e545 to cut steel and stainless steel. The new machine offers the user more processing options, while the cutting quality has been improved and rework has been reduced.

In order to be able to meet the requirements of its long-term partner Deutsche Bahn even better, the construction service provider Jaeger Bernburg has decided to expand its activities in steel construction. In order for the company to manufacture the required flame-cut parts for its own mast production, cutting technology from ERL Automation has been used since last year. With an erlcut portal system for plasma cutting, oxyfuel cutting and drilling as well as a BIBER robot cutting system for weld seam preparation, the company has been able to significantly increase flexibility and optimise costs.

Grünig GmbH has been using a new portal cutting system from ERL Automation for the production of various flame-cut parts since spring 2021. The erlcut now enables the company to cut thicker sheets with the fast plasma process and to mark them automatically. At the same time, non-productive times have been reduced thanks to a large belt conveyor table.
