On 27 September 2023, the Wirtschaftsjunioren Dingolfing-Landau came to visit the erl gruppe in Landau a. d. Isar. The young entrepreneurs and managers from all areas of the economy were given an insight into the companies of the specialist for welding and cutting technology.
Before the tour of the different companies, Managing Director Martin Stefan Erl gave a short presentation of the companies and their product ranges. Afterwards, the visitors could take a look at the range of products and services during a tour. At ERL GmbH Schweissen + Schneiden, the system trader for welding technology, industrial safety and accessories, Martin Stefan Erl presented the company's new ARCwelder series of welding equipment. The guests were also given an insight into the in-house technology centre, the service centre and the warehouse.
Afterwards, a tour of Factory 2 was on the agenda, where ERL Automation GmbH is located and develops and manufactures systems for thermal cutting. Managing Director Martin Erl gave the visitors an understanding of the various makes, for example a portal cutting system of the erlcut type, which end users use for cutting sheet metal. During a live demonstration, the guests could see the cutting results for themselves. Johannes Reitinger also presented the unique robot cutting system BIBER, which is used to bevel components quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
The last stop on the tour was the wire drawing factory of Migal.co GmbH, where high-quality aluminium welding consumables are produced. During a tour through the entire production, the Wirtschaftsjunioren were shown the various production steps - from peeling and drawing the wire to quality testing in the laboratory and packaging in various containers.
As a thank you for the interesting insights, Jessica Huber, 1st Chairwoman of the Junior Chamber Dingolfing-Landau, handed over a small gift to the CEOs Martin Stefan Erl and Martin Erl before everyone rounded off the evening with a meal together.
