The Schweissen & Schneiden trade fair took place in Essen from 11 - 15 September 2023. 826 exhibitors presented their new products and innovations from the world of joining, cutting and coating technology to around 40,000 trade visitors from 124 nations. ERL Automation GmbH was also present again this year and, together with ERL GmbH and Migal.co GmbH, presented its innovative solutions for welding and cutting. The innovations from ERL met with great interest from the trade audience and attracted numerous visitors to the stand.

Last week, an 8th grade class from the Viktor-Karell-Realschule visited the Erl Group in Landau to spend a morning looking behind the scenes of the specialist for welding and cutting technology.

The Brückenwerkstatt of Deutsche Bahn in Dresden has upgraded its cutting technology to the latest state of the art. Since the beginning of the year, the sheet metal cutting has been carried out with an erlcut e540 gantry cutting system. The BIBER cutting robot system is used for weld seam preparation. With the two systems from ERL Automation, the company not only registers improved cutting results, but also a significant time saving.

The group of companies consisting of ERL GmbH Schweissen + Schneiden, ERL Automation GmbH and MIGAL.CO GmbH received representatives of the company Eurotehnika and the University of Zagreb with about 20 prospective welding engineers and presented the group of companies as well as their products and services.

Last Thursday, Martin Erl welcomed Pastor Richard Simon from Winzer to the Erl Group for the donation. The management handed him a donation cheque of € 7,500 for the Ukraine aid project he had initiated.

The 26th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, EuroBLECH 2022, has come to an end after four very successful days. A total of 38,076 trade visitors from all over the world travelled to Hannover to define the future of sheet metal working and face the current challenges. This year's trade fair included 1,300 exhibitors from 39 countries. ERL Automation GmbH was also there again this year and, together with ERL GmbH, presented its innovative solutions for automated welding and cutting. The innovations from ERL were met with great interest from the trade public and attracted numerous visitors to the stand.

In order to be able to meet the requirements of its long-term partner Deutsche Bahn even better, the construction service provider Jaeger Bernburg has decided to expand its activities in steel construction. In order for the company to manufacture the required flame-cut parts for its own mast production, cutting technology from ERL Automation has been used since last year. With an erlcut portal system for plasma cutting, oxyfuel cutting and drilling as well as a BIBER robot cutting system for weld seam preparation, the company has been able to significantly increase flexibility and optimise costs.

From 26 - 29 October, the sister trade fairs Blechexpo and Schweisstec took place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. 953 exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Austria, Turkey, Switzerland and the Benelux countries presented top technologies in sheet metal and metal processing in nine halls on 108,000 square metres. ERL Automation GmbH was also there again this year and, together with ERL GmbH, presented its innovative solutions for automated welding and cutting. The innovations from ERL were met with great interest from the trade public and attracted numerous visitors to the stand.

ERL Automation GmbH has further developed its erlcut gantry cutting system. From now on, the cutting machines can also be equipped with a drilling system. The fully automatic drilling spindle erlcut-drill extends the gantry cutting system with the processing steps drilling, threading and countersinking. By combining cutting and drilling on one system, users benefit from shorter production times and simplified handling.
