Fast and easy chamfering of challenging large components

With a new robot cutting system for automatic chamfering of components from ERL Automation, a flame-cutting company has recently brought its weld seam preparation to the state of the art. The new XXL-BIBER with a cutting area of 3,000 x 11,000 mm not only offers more possibilities for chamfering and better cutting results, but also reduces production times.


Plasma bevel unit

ERL Automation GmbH has further developed its gantry cutting system erlcut. From now on, the cutting machines can also be equipped with a rotator unit for plasma chamfering. As a result, users benefit from short machining times for simple bevel geometries.


Robot cutting system BIBER

Lehnhoff has been relying on a BIBER robot cutting system from ERL for weld seam preparation since 2010. To ensure its competitiveness, the company decided to invest in the next generation of the cutting system. Productivity in cutting was also increased with a gantry cutting system including a sound insulating enclosure, while at the same time creating a user-friendly working environment.
