Applications
The degrees of freedom offered by the robot due to its number of axes make it possible to form chamfers that were previously only possible manually with complex handling or expensive machining processes.
The BIBER cutting system is suitable for a wide variety of geometric shapes such as circles, arcs, lines and any other geometries. The only limitation is the accessibility due to the torch geometry.
The following bevel shapes can be created with the BIBER: HV without bridge, double HV, HY with exact bridge, double HY, bevel on bevel on one side, bevel on bevel on both sides and alternating bevel as well as hole piercing for any cut-out in solid material. For cuts from above, chamfer angles of 30° to 90° are possible, for cuts from the narrow side between 15° and 89° (assuming torch accessibility).
